Our Story

Be Good

Amente began in 2018 with a simple intention: Be Good.

For us, that means creating clothing made to last —
with care for the people who make it, respect for the environment,
and a hope that it becomes part of someone’s everyday life.

We didn’t begin with a grand plan.
We simply wanted to create something quiet and sincere.

Early on, we came across a verse from the Bible (Ephesians 2:10) 
a gentle reminder that each person carries meaning,
and that even small actions can move things in a good direction.
That idea became our quiet starting point.

Amente was founded with a shared desire to live more intentionally.
Rather than growing big, we focus on making thoughtful choices —
hoping they come together to create something warm and meaningful.

So we began where we felt most familiar: creating garments,
while thinking carefully about the people behind them
and the world they’re made in.

At Amente, we choose longevity over trends,
care over speed,
and people over profit.

We’re not perfect — but we move forward honestly,
taking small steps and learning as we go.

Amente is about building small goodness, over time.
